Our Directors



Luke Crampton
Founder



Now into his third decade of music licensing with songfinder, media industry executive Luke Crampton is also Managing Director of Original Media, a broad entertainment-based production company which creates and produces music television and radio programming, including CNN International's World Beat, the first global weekly music television series, and its successor, The Music Room. Luke also produces the popular weekly music radio series, Lost & Found and is retained as a consultant to some of the world’s leading media corporations. Luke is an acclaimed best-selling author of over forty books including Rock and Roll: Year By Year, published in association with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - for which he is also a voting member. Luke is also a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Radio Hall of Fame and the Recording Academy (NARAS), having previously served as the official adjudicator for the Ivor Novello Awards and the World Music Awards. Luke is also Director of the non-profit Trans Africa Pipeline (TAP) Foundation which is bringing clean water to twelve drought-stricken countries in sub-Saharan Africa.



Melissa Love
Senior Director



Honing her industry chops overseeing music licensing, clearance and reporting for Turner Broadcasting's news and entertainment networks, Melissa joined songfinder in 2007 where she expanded her work to include projects in film, television, new media and gaming. Her work includes licensing for FX's Fargo and Archer, Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch, National Geographic Channel's The Story of God, OWN's Greenleaf and the independent film projects Diving Normal and The Stagecoach Bar: An American Crossroads. She is a member of Georgia Production Partners, Georgia Music Partners and is a Governor with the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy (NARAS). Melissa served on the board of directors of Wilderness Works, a youth development agency serving homeless and disadvantaged children living primarily in metro Atlanta.



Mary Lorraine McDonald
Director



Mary Lorraine McDonald got her start in music licensing at 5 Alarm Music in 2008. Over the past 16 years, she has pitched, negotiated and licensed hundreds of songs for use in trailers, television programs, movies and commercials. Mary Lorraine has placed songs in shows such as Breaking Bad, Emily in Paris and Only Murders in the Building. Specializing in trailers and promos, her main clients included Disney, Paramount, Sony, Netflix and Warner Bros., among many others. She also has licensed cues for commercial campaigns with global brands including Pepsi, Nissan and Polo Ralph Lauren. Mary Lorraine joined songfinder in 2025.
